Corbett National Park, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, Jageshwar



Day Description
Day 1

On arrival at Corbett National Park (India’s first national park) check-in at your hotel/lodge. Relax for sometime before you move out for a jeep safari through the park (also a birders paradise you can spot over 500 species of birds). Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

You can explore the park early in the morning by a jeep or take the unique elephant safari through the wilderness. Alternatively you could go for a nature walk (great for birding specially around Sambhar road, Kalagarh dam, Dhikala and Khinnanauli) or fishing on Ramganga or Mandala river (preferably during October – November and February - May). Do visit the Corbett museum. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3

Check out and proceed for Binsar, check-in at your hotel. You could keep the rest of the day relaxed and enjoy the beautiful views of the majestic Himalayan peaks. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4

Take a leisurely walk through Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary (great for birding too!), go up to Zero Point for breathtaking views, visit Bineshwar Mahadev temple and other shrines the area is dotted with (Chittai bell temple, Devidhura temple or the cave temple of Gananath). Enjoy the evening by the bonfire. Overnight at hotel in Binsar.

Day 5

Make a day trip to Jageshwar to pay homage to the 9th century Jyotirling temple or simply relax in your resort with a good read. Overnight at hotel in Binsar.

Day 6

Check out of hotel and proceed for home.
